According to the Human Rights Watch, India has shut down the internet various regions about 20 times in the first five months of 2017. The Indian government did not comment on the report. In other words, the government never explained these shutdowns. The Prime Minster of the U.K, Theresa May is planning to introduce huge regulations on the way the internet works, allowing the government to decide what you’re allowed to say online. The purpose of these regulations is to fight terrorism. The new rules would include laws that make it harder than ever to access pornographic and other websites.
